At Greene Construction our specialty is listening to our clients and finding creative solutions that achieve your goals within your budget. As Greg Greene, owner of Greene Construction likes to say “… I like seeing the smiles on my customer’s faces”.

What do we mean by creative solutions? We enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to squeeze more function into your space which is especially important as people start building smaller homes, with better functionality. Many remodelers shy away from the most challenging projects like stairs, custom built-ins, and we love them. Greg enjoys working with homeowners and helping figure out what they can afford. He thinks outside the box, challenging the status quo to identify unique solutions. The half wall (below left) is a great example of using a bookcase and open display space (visible from the home’s entry way) instead of a railing over the stairs.

Heading up Greene Construction is Greg Greene who decided to keep creating solutions for homeowners after graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in natural science and wildlife management.

Leveraging his experience working summers through college, Greg decided he liked the freedom he had as an entrepreneur, to work with people and be creative. Greene Construction has grown over the last 20 years, building custom solutions for homeowners on Boston’s north shore and southern New Hampshire. Greg listens to his customers and when needed, researches and finds solutions to meet their needs. Ice Melt New England is one example of Greg going the extra mile to help his clients.

What Do You Enjoy Most About Your Business?

“I really like working with my customers. Helping homeowners figure out what they want and can afford, is challenging and rewarding. One of the things I really look forward to is the smile on their face when they see the project get close to completion, when they say this is better than I imagined. “

Greg truly understands that the best referral is a happy customer telling their story to friends and neighbors. He spends more time working with his clients than swinging a hammer but he’s always there to listen to concerns, answer questions and insure the utmost quality in every project.

How Do You Spend Your Free Time?

“Living in Newburyport, I try to spend my time in a kayak, a boar or some days you’ll find me walking the beach. I love to hike and sometimes head north to hike the mountains in New Hampshire and Maine.”
